Compact CO₂ hot-water systems
A smaller system. A properly planned upgrade.
Explore Daikin’s compact CO₂ hot-water range with Winter AC. We assess the site, hot-water demand and installation requirements, then quote a suitable system for your home or an approved smaller-scale application.

Where it fits
Hot water for smaller demands.
Daikin’s RQWX60ZV1A outdoor heat pump pairs with a TU25SSZA 250 L or TU32SSZA 315 L tank. This range is marketed primarily for household hot water. Any light-commercial use needs Daikin confirmation of suitability, duty and warranty before selection.
Homes & renovations
Assess shower and bath use, available space and the existing cylinder location before selecting the tank.
Smaller hot-water loads
Discuss the demand profile with us. For business premises, manufacturer approval and warranty terms need to be confirmed.
Electric or gas replacement
Review the complete changeover, including pipe routes, electrical supply, drainage, access and removal of existing equipment.
Meet the system
Separate heat pump. Two storage options.
The outdoor heat pump and storage tank work together. We check available space, pipe routes and hot-water use before selecting the package.

The complete installation
Start with the system.
Tank size is only part of the selection. We also consider when hot water is used, how much recovery time is available and where the outdoor unit can be installed. For larger or more sustained commercial loads, we can assess QAHV and Q-ton alongside other suitable options.
What we review
- Daily consumption, peak use and required recovery.
- Storage, distribution and existing plant condition.
- Electrical capacity, controls and monitoring.
- Plant access, location, noise and maintenance space.
- Changeover programme, commissioning and handover.

Your questions, answered
Should I choose 250 L or 315 L?
That depends on the demand pattern, available space and recovery requirement. Tell us about the number of users, showers, baths and any periods of concentrated use. We will check the complete system selection.
Can I use this Daikin range in a commercial building?
Potentially, for a suitable smaller load, but it must be assessed and approved for the intended application. We confirm the duty and applicable warranty with Daikin before recommending it for business use.
Is this the same as Daikin Altherma space heating?
This page covers the RQWX60ZV1A CO₂ domestic hot-water system. If you also need underfloor or radiator heating, tell us so the appropriate system can be selected.
Can I get a supply and installation price?
Yes. Send the site address, photos of the existing hot-water system and the proposed outdoor-unit location. We will confirm equipment selection and the plumbing, electrical and installation scope before pricing.
